Pumpkin Patch Field Trip
We are excited to announce our first field trip to Boone Hall Farms Pumpkin Patch on Tuesday, October 8th for our 3 and 4 year old classes! We will journey through the pumpkin patch to explore, learn and engage in the activities provided by Boone Hall Farms. Students will learn the life cycle of a pumpkin and what it needs to grow, visit the goats and bunnies in the petting zoo, and take part in a tractor-pulled “Not So Scary” hayride (designed for early childhood). We will also pick a pumpkin to take home and play on the playground there! The cost for each student will be $21. This includes all activities listed above plus school bus transportation provided by Durham School Services.
School policy requires that each child have advance written permission to go on a field trip. Those who do not have written permission will not be able to participate in the field trip. Please look out for the permission slip that will go out with the students later this week!
Please have all children arrive no later than 9:00am, as the bus will be leaving at 9:15am at the latest.
